    Born in 1976, Gilberto Silva is widely considered one of the best defensive midfielders of his generation. The Brazilian most commonly played for Arsenal, where he won the Premier League title in 2004. He was a part of the magical team that went the whole campaign undefeated. After leaving Arsenal in 2008, Gilberto Silva joined the Greek side Panathinaikos. Eventually, he returned to Brazil where he spent the last years of his career. For the Brazilian national team, Silva amassed 93 appearances, winning the World Cup in 2002 and Copa America in 2007. He was known for his defensive skills and accurate passing. In 2016, Gilberto Silva served as a technical director for Panathinaikos. Since then, he has been engaged in numerous projects and has worked as an analyst for various sports networks.

      The ex-Liverpool midfielder is considered one of the most notable players in Chile. Born in 1984, Mark Gonzalez played for several clubs, but his stint in Liverpool from 2006 to 2007 is worth mentioning. The Chilean player is mostly remembered for scoring in the Champions League, against Maccabi Haifa in 2006. Coming as a substitute for Steven Gerrard, he hit an 88th-minute stunner, winning the game for Liverpool. Known for his incredible speed and mind-boggling technical abilities, Gonzalez also played for Real Sociedad and CSKA Moscow. After leaving the latter in 2014, he mainly played for Chilean clubs and retired in 2019. In the Chilean national team, Gonzalez took part in 56 matches scoring six goals. He was selected for three Copa America tournaments and the 2010 World Cup. He won Copa America in 2016, his only title on the national team.
